Yes, it's just as it sounds! You can actually get INSIDE the Hyrule Castle, not just in one of the courtyards,
but INSIDE. This glitch is rather difficult to do successfully, but keep trying, and you'll do it.
OK, here's how it works. First, you need to go as young Link to the Hyrule Castle area. Head over to the entrance
to the Great Fairy Fountain containing Din's Fire. While facing the tunnel, step back until you see a corner in
the hills. Notice that this corner is on a light slant. Now, what you want to do is carefully climb the corner,
being careful to remain RIGHT on the corner (Z-Targetting helps). If you make one wrong step, you'll slip down
and have to start over. This may take many tries.
Once you're up on that grassy area you thought you'd never be able to explore, go toward the castle. Walk on the
VERY edge of the grass (but don't fall!). Go as far as you can go along the grass, and, carefully face the stream
below you. Now, run AS FAST AS YOU CAN toward the water, and dive in. When you swim to the surface, you'll be
inside the castle! I'll have to put up some screenshots. I don't want to spoil it for you, so my lips are zipped.
Try this!
Now, there are probably many other places like this in Zelda, and even in other games. Try some other things similar
to this glitch, and send them in! |
